Server and Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Server & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The role involves configuring, deploying, supporting, and troubleshooting servers, storage, virtualization, networking security solutions.

The role is also client facing, so the candidate should be comfortable attending technical meetings, understanding client requirements, presenting solutions, and working with OEMs or vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and deploy enterprise servers from OEMs such as Lenovo, Dell, HPE, Huawei etc. Configure server hardware including RAID, disks, NICs, HBAs, and related components.
• Configure and support SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and other storage solutions.

• Support virtualization software and support Windows/Linux servers.
• Troubleshoot server, storage, virtualization, and network infrastructure issues.

• Support network infrastructure including load balancers, switches, routers etc.
• Configure and support firewalls and other network security solutions.

• Assist with infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and system hardening.
• Participate in client meetings, site assessments, technical presentations, demos, and PoCs.

• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOMs, and solution proposals.

• Work with OEMs, distributors, and vendors on solution design, configuration, and technical support.
• Support infrastructure installation, implementation, testing, and post deployment support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands on experience in enterprise server and storage infrastructure engineering.

• Good knowledge of networking and network security.
• Experience with virtualization software.

• Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good communication and client engagement skills.

• Ability to work with OEMs, vendors, and technical teams.

• Relevant Network security vendor certifications.

• Microsoft Certified (Windows Server Administrator)
