BIM Modeler "Roads"

Role Purpose

Support the development and coordination of 3D BIM models for road and transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality design deliverables and compliance with project BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for roads and highways projects.
• Coordinate with transportation, utilities, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Prepare BIM deliverables, drawings, and model documentation.
• Perform model reviews, clash detection, and design coordination activities.
• Develop corridor models, grading models, and road geometry components.
• Support quantity extraction and model-based reporting activities.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and support multidisciplinary design integration.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), and project requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of BIM experience in Roads or Transportation projects.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
• Strong experience in 3D infrastructure modeling and BIM coordination.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, model coordination, clash detection, and quantity take-offs.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and industry BIM standards is preferred.
• UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred.
