PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

A Production Supervisor manages frontline manufacturing teams, ensuring daily production targets are met safely and efficiently. They assign tasks, monitor work quality, and act as the direct link between management strategy and hands-on production execution.

• Operations Management: Plan, organize, and schedule daily or weekly production workflows to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
• Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and coach production staff. Communicate job expectations, appraise performance, and handle disciplinary actions.
• Quality Control: Enforce quality assurance standards to ensure products are manufactured according to specifications.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce strict safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, PPE compliance) to maintain a safe working environment and minimize workplace hazards.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify issues or bottlenecks in efficiency, suggest improvements, and execute cost-reduction strategies.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure machinery runs smoothly by monitoring performance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and scheduling regular preventative maintenance.
• Reporting: Document and report production output, inventory levels, and shift performance metrics to senior management

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Male or Female.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Demonstrates strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to speak and understand basic Mandarin is considered an advantage, but is not required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in production management or a similar role.
• Possesses strong planning, organizational, implementation, monitoring, communication, and coordination skills, with the ability to handle various operational and legal situations effectively.
• Knowledgeable in human resource management, with the capability to organize and oversee staff assessment and training programs.
• Proficient in computer system operations, including office software, ERP systems, and quality management systems.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards, with an understanding of compliance and quality requirements.
