Job description

Roles & responsibilities

Monitor and improve rider performance and compliance.

Lead rider recruitment for the allocated zones.

Lead the team to complete ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Lead a team of rider coordinators and/or rider captains.

Document weekly updates on all logistics operations KPIs to line manager along with actionable improvement items.

Monitor, control, and optimize our internal service level KPIs on allocated zones and rider level.

Manage rider roster with proper allocation of shifts, breaks, off-days, etc.

Supervise rider onboarding and training schedule with rider trainer and rider supervisor.

Inventory management and usage compliance of rider equipment.

Oversee and decrease rider-level cancellations, and ensure an action plan has been developed and executed.

Groom rider quality including behavior, appearance, professionalism, and presentation.

Set up a performance improvement plan to improve performance of low performing riders.

Monitor riders’ performance on an individual level and be responsible for coaching and warning riders.

Audit fleet appearance and rider behavior via on-ground visits.

Desired candidate profile

Bachelor's degree.

2+ years of experience in the food/grocery tech industry is highly preferred.

Proficient in Google Suite tools like Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Influencer and negotiator with good public speaking and presentation skills.

People management skills: experience in managing a larger group of people.
