We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Maintenance / Handyman to assist with general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, problem-solve, and confidently handle a variety of day-to-day repairs and small construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Complete general maintenance and repairs throughout our facilities.
- Perform minor construction, drywall installation and repair, painting, patching, and finishing work.
- Complete basic household repairs, including doors, trim, fixtures, shelving, hardware, and other maintenance needs.
- Identify maintenance or safety concerns and complete repairs or report larger issues as required.
- Assist with small renovation, improvement, and building projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance, handyman, renovation, or construction experience is required.
- Experience with minor construction, drywall, painting, and general household repairs.
- Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve.
- Reliable, organized, and able to complete work to a good standard.
- Comfortable working in an addiction treatment and supportive-service environment.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers licence is required.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and working with tools.
