Staff Nurse

As the primary contact for patients, the Registered Staff Nurse manages the treatment and recovery of patients by administering preventive, curative and rehabilitative care.

Provide nursing services requiring substantial and specialised nursing skills.

Work closely with the Resident Doctor and multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents

Update changes in the residents' condition and needs

Evaluate residents response to care interventions and recommend revision of care as necessary

Work with allied health professionals and / or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures

Carry out and supervise assessment of all new admissions

Prepare clinical documentation and ensure all documents are up-to-date

Administer medication to the residents and comply with safe medication practices

Work with Supervisor to conduct quality assurance activities to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care

Work with staff to maintain a safe and clean environment in the nursing home

Familiar with the use of Nursing Home IT Enablement Program (NHELP) process

Any other ad-hoc duty assigned by your supervisor / Head of Department

Nursing Diploma and Degree graduates who are registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) may work as a Staff Nurse.
