automotive service technician apprentice

*Job Summary* We are looking for a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. If you are passionate about diagnostics, precision repairs, and providing high-quality service, we want to hear from you.

*Duties*

• Assist technicians with diagnosing and repairing various vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
• Learn to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics for vehicle systems
• Support in welding and assembly tasks as required during repair processes
• Use mechanical knowledge to help with engine repairs, electrical diagnostics, and other mechanical systems
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
• Assist with heavy lifting of parts and equipment safely during repairs or installations
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and updates under supervision

*Skills*

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in an automotive service environment.
• Basic automotive repair knowledge
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Mechanical aptitude with an interest in learning automotive systems and diagnostics
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
• Excellent customer service skills to support positive customer interactions
• Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
