Job Description

We are looking for a positive, motivated dental assistant to join our busy practice.

Duties include:

• Preparing patients for dental work
• Preparing rooms for dental procedures
• Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures
• Recording treatment information
• Keeping patient records in order
• Taking and exposing x-rays for dental diagnostics
• Giving patients information on oral hygiene
• Providing post-operative and post-treatment instructions to patients
• Dental Assistant requirements
• Act in accordance with laws and regulations
• Working with dental software (Dentrix knowledge an asset)
• Help the dental assistant throughout the day

Job requirements:

• Certification in an accredited dental assistance program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Team player
• Able to work in fast paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
