Tourism Officer

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and promote tourism packages, tours, excursions, and travel-related services. Assist clients with travel planning, including destination selection, accommodation, transportation, tours, activities, travel agencies, and other tourism service providers. Provide customers with accurate information on destinations, travel requirements, costs, itineraries, and available tourism services. Prepare customized travel itineraries and quotations based on clients’ needs and budgets

Follow up with clients and prospective customers to convert enquiries into bookings and sales

Conduct market research to identify new tourism destinations, trends, products, and business opportunities Support marketing and promotional activities for tourism and travel services

Maintain accurate records of customer enquiries, bookings, payments, and travel arrangements

Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery of travel and tourism services

Handle customer complaints and resolve travel-related issues professionally

Prepare regular reports on tourism activities, sales, customer feedback, and business development

Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant travel and tourism regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum qualification of an OND 1 year of previous experience in a similar role
