Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities:

Provide specialised learning support to pupils across various classes according to identified educational needs. Develop and implement appropriate Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required. Support learners with Autism, ADHD and other learning-support needs using appropriate strategies. Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Learning Support Unit to provide coordinated support. Monitor learner progress and maintain appropriate records of interventions and outcomes. Promote an inclusive, respectful and supportive learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

A minimum BEd in Special Education or SEN-related qualification A minimum of 2 years of experience IEP development, experience with Autism/ADHD/Learning Support Unit collaboration
