Job Description:
- Implement EHS policies and ensure compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and other applicable legal requirements.
- Liaise with local authorities, including MOM, on EHS compliance matters.
- Conduct risk assessments (RA) and Environmental Aspect and Impact (EAI) assessments for pump overhaul processes.
- Monitor hazardous chemical exposure, environmental risks and waste management, and implement appropriate control measures.
- Conduct shop-floor safety inspections, review contractors’ Permit-to-Work (PTW) forms and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain and audit ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems, supporting continual improvement.
- Assist the QEHS Manager and Facility Safety Manager (FSM) in achieving EHS objectives and managing CERT and First Aid members.
- Maintain Emergency Response Plans (ERPs) and conduct safety inductions and EHS awareness training for workshop staff.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on EHS experience in metalworking or precision engineering.
- Diploma or degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) with MOM.
- Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification is preferred.
