ICT and French Teacher

Sri Sathya Sai Global School is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable ICT & French Teacher who enjoys working with children and can make technology and language learning engaging, practical and enjoyable.
This role is suitable for candidates with a Computer Science / IT / Technology background who also have working knowledge of French. Prior school teaching experience is welcome, but not essential. Fresh graduates with good communication skills, confidence and an interest in education are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach age-appropriate ICT / Computer Studies, including digital literacy, basic coding, productivity tools and responsible use of technology.
- Introduce students to practical and creative uses of computers and technology.
- Teach French at beginner to intermediate school level, focusing on vocabulary, conversation, pronunciation, reading and basic writing.
- Prepare engaging lessons, classroom activities, projects and learning materials.
- Encourage students to learn through hands-on activities, interaction and experimentation.
- Monitor student progress and provide appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Support school projects, technology-related activities and other academic initiatives when required.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers to create an engaging and positive learning environment.
Candidate Profile
We would be happy to hear from candidates who have:
- A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, Technology or a related discipline.
- A good working knowledge of French and the confidence to teach foundational French to school students.
- Good spoken and written English.
- An interest in teaching, mentoring and working with children.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Patience, creativity and a willingness to learn.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Previous teaching experience is an advantage, but is not a mandatory requirement.
- Candidates with qualifications such as BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science/IT, B.Tech/BE, MCA or similar backgrounds, along with French-language knowledge or certification, are particularly encouraged to apply.
