*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Cleardent, along with knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where patient comfort and care quality are prioritized.

*Duties*

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
  • Take dental radiographs
  • Manage patient records using Cleardent dental software system
  • Provide patient education on oral health, post-treatment care, and preventive practices
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries as a dental receptionist when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Support patients of all ages, including pediatrics, ensuring a comfortable experience throughout their visit

*Requirements*

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Familiarity with dental software Cleardent
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and botox
  • Certification or training in dental assisting is required; additional skills in orthodontics or pediatric dentistry are a plus
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
