Position Responsibilities Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain relationships with foodservice operators, distributors, brokers, and key partners across Unattended Retail, Corporate Campuses, Foodservice, Hotels, Travel, Healthcare, and Movie Theaters. Use data to identify opportunities and build the brand by executing effective merchandising, assortment, pricing, and shelving/menu plans. Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to create channel-specific programs that enhance brand visibility and consumer demand.

Develop Annual Business Plans: Collaborate with cross-functional team members to build an annual business plan across the Foodservice/Away From Home channel mix. Track progress vs. plan and recommend course corrections as needed, including as the channel mix is finalized.

Monitor and Manage Trade Spending: Create efficient and effective promotions across channel-appropriate formats. Conduct post-promotional analysis and make adjustments as needed to deliver net sales targets. Implement strategies to balance trade spend with profitability goals, minimizing waste and maximizing promotional impact.

Manage Broker & Distributor Partner Sales Execution: Collaborate with broker and foodservice distributor partners to optimize the business. Set KPIs and leverage scorecarding to ensure sales targets are achieved. Monitor partner performance, conduct regular business reviews, and implement corrective actions to ensure consistent market penetration and sales growth.

Channel Strategy & Development: Partner with the Director, Foodservice & Away From Home to help finalize and prioritize the channel mix, identifying the highest-opportunity sub-channels and customers as the business scales.

GPO Partnerships: Support and grow the GPO partnerships, including Foodbuy, Premier, and Entegra, to drive operator adoption and sales growth. Partner with GPO teams on promotions, operator outreach, and program visibility to get the most out of each partnership.

Forecasting: Deliver accurate and timely sales forecasts to inform production planning, inventory management, and financial projections. Utilize data-driven insights from CRM systems, market reports, and retailer/operator feedback to refine forecasting models and improve accuracy. Present forecasts to senior leadership, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and broker meetings: must have the ability to travel up to 50%+ of time, as business needs necessitate.

Education and Experience BA/BS required, MBA a plus

5+ years of CPG account management, trade marketing, and broker/distributor management, with direct experience in foodservice or away-from-home channels

Experience working for large CPG brands as well as challenger brands

Strong planning skills with proficiency in CRM systems, forecasting tools, and financial analysis

Strong PC skills including MS Office

Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization

Strong analytical skills and ability to use consumption data (SPINS)
