The Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects. LTC is a new road that will connect Kent and Essex through a tunnel beneath the River Thames and will be the greenest road ever built in the UK - creating six times more green space than road. The reliable new route will almost double road capacity over the river east of London to reduce congestion and give millions of people more choice on where they live, work and spend their valuable time.

We are currently looking for a Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager who will lead on Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Quality across the Lower Thames Crossing project, setting clear direction, driving improvement and ensuring Skanska's values are reflected in the way the project is delivered.

As the Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will:

• Lead the delivery of the Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Quality strategy, ensuring alignment with project objectives, client expectations and Skanska standards.
• Support project leadership teams in managing HSWQ risks and opportunities across all phases of delivery.
• Lead assurance activity across the project, including audits, inspections and reviews, and drive timely close-out of actions and non-conformances.
• Support investigation of accidents, incidents, close calls and quality failures, ensuring lessons learned are identified and embedded.
• Lead, coach and develop project HSWQ resources, building capability and supporting continuous improvement.
• Act as the key advisor to project teams and supply chain partners on all matters relating to health, safety, wellbeing and quality.

We are looking for:

• Leadership experience with a track record of leading leaders, including site to board level.
• Experience leading mega projects or major infrastructure delivery.
• Level 5+ qualification in HSWQ.
• CMIOSH or working towards it.
• Extensive HSWQ technical knowledge, strategy and assurance capability.
