SUPERVISOR

Core Responsibilities Operations Oversight: Manage daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and dispatching. Staff Management: Assign daily tasks, set shift schedules, train workers, and evaluate performance. Inventory Control: Track stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve inventory discrepancies. Safety Enforcement: Ensure compliance with safety rules, operate machinery safely, and run safety meetings. Performance Tracking: Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and report operational metrics to management. Requirements and Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required; a degree in business, logistics, or management is preferred. Experience: Previous supervisory or management experience in a warehouse or logistics setting. Skills: Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication abilities. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic computer software. Physical Ability: Capability to stand for long hours and lift heavy items when needed.
