Permanent Part-Time Prep Chef
📍 Location: Jalan Besar 💰 Salary: $12 per hour 🕒 Flexible Working Hours
Job Summary
Prepare fresh ingredients, sauces, and salad bowls while maintaining hygiene standards and assisting with customer orders in a fast-paced salad bar environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh ingredients and proteins to meet daily production needs
- Wash, cut, and portion vegetables accurately for salad preparation
- Prepare sauces and ingredients following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain food hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout kitchen operations
- Assist with stock replenishment to ensure ingredient availability
- Prepare and serve salad bowls to customers promptly and accurately
- Take customer orders at the cashier with attention to detail
- Perform any other kitchen preparation duties as assigned to support smooth operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in food and beverage (F&B) or kitchen environments preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
- Immediate availability is an advantage
