The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to engage and challenge pupils across Year 5 to Year 8 through innovative and effective teaching. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our rapidly expanding group of schools.

Key responsibilities:

Teach Mathematics in line with the British curriculum.

Create and deliver stimulating and rigorous lessons that support and stretch all learners.

Contribute to curriculum planning and the development of progressive teaching strategies.

Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback.

Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Support pupils in developing strong numeracy, problem-solving, and reasoning skills.

Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

A certified teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.

A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related subject.

Experience teaching Mathematics in a British curriculum school.

Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills.

High motivation and a passion for teaching Mathematics.

Team player with excellent communication skills.

Desirable:

Experience preparing students for Key Stage 3 progression.

Proven experience teaching in the UK.

Recent UK or international school experience.

Child protection training.
