The role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring English teacher to engage and challenge our pupils. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our growing network of schools and contribute to our outstanding academic provision.

Key responsibilities:

Teach English language and literature up to A-Level.

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of all students.

Contribute to curriculum development and academic enrichment.

Promote a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking.

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and experience

Essential:

A certified teaching qualification (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent) from a UK university.

A relevant degree in English or a closely related subject.

Experience teaching English in a British curriculum school.

Strong classroom management and communication skills.

High levels of motivation, creativity, and flexibility.

Ability to teach English language and literature to A-Level.

Desirable:

Experience with EAL learners.

Proven track record of teaching in the UK.

Please note: Due to Qatar’s work visa restrictions, applicants must be under the age of 50.
