About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Procurement Executive to support our offshore and marine operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for procurement activities, inventory control, warehouse coordination, and vendor management to ensure the timely availability of equipment, materials, spare parts, and supplies required for vessel and maintenance operations.

Candidates with experience in the offshore, marine, oil & gas, shipyard, or vessel maintenance industry will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Process purchase requisitions for equipment, materials, spare parts, and consumables.
  • Source and obtain competitive quotations from suppliers and service providers.
  • Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.
  • Raise and issue Purchase Orders (POs) in accordance with company procedures.
  • Monitor outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders and logistics providers for local and international shipments.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.

Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory and equipment records in the Maintenance Pro system.
  • Update procurement, stock movements, and warehouse transactions accurately.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend replenishment to prevent operational disruptions.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
  • Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure proper inventory control and storage practices.

Operations Support

  • Provide regular procurement and inventory status updates to the Site Operation Manager.
  • Support vessel, workshop, and maintenance teams with procurement requirements.
  • Maintain proper records and documentation for all procurement activities.
  • Assist in special projects and other duties assigned by the Site Operation Manager.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of procurement experience, preferably within the offshore, marine, oil & gas, vessel maintenance, or shipyard industry.
  • Good knowledge of marine equipment, offshore materials, spare parts, and maintenance consumables.
  • Experience in procurement and inventory management systems; Maintenance Pro experience is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with offshore vessel operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and logistics processes.
  • Experience purchasing marine, diving, offshore project equipment, and consumables.
