QUALITY ASSURANCE STAFF

The QA / QC Officer is responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining the quality management system and food safety programs within the cold storage facility. This role ensures that all operational processes, from receiving and storage to handling and dispatch, adhere to national and international food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP), regulatory requirements, and client-specific quality specifications. The QA/QC Officer is crucial for safeguarding product integrity, minimizing risks, preventing contamination, and upholding the facility's reputation for reliable cold chain services.

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Food Safety role, preferably within the food industry, cold storage, warehousing, or a manufacturing environment handling food products. HACCP certification is highly preferred and often mandatory. GMP certification or training is a strong advantage. Relevant certifications in internal auditing or quality management systems are a plus. Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining HACCP and GMP systems. Proven experience in conducting internal audits, inspections, and managing non-conformances. Familiarity with relevant Philippine food safety regulations (e.g., FDA Administrative Orders, BFAR regulations). Experience in conducting training on quality and food safety topics.
