Plant and Equipment Supervisor / Service Engineer

JOB PURPOSE

The Plant and Equipment Supervisor/Service Engineer will oversee the operation, maintenance, and utilization of all plant machinery and equipment at project sites, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and cost efficiency. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily operations of plant and equipment across project sites.
• Ensure all machinery is properly maintained, serviced, and in good working condition.
• Coordinate equipment allocation based on project requirements and priorities.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and utilization rates.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
• Liaise with procurement for equipment hiring, purchasing, and spare parts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and ensure adherence to HSE regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
• Manage plant operators, mechanics, and support staff.
• Investigate equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
• Optimize operational costs and improve efficiency in plant usage.
