Securalink Network Solutions is a growing security systems installation and service company looking for an experienced, dependable Security Systems Technician to join our team.

Your tasks

The majority of our work involves commercial and residential security camera installations, troubleshooting and servicing existing systems, with occasional alarm system and access control projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service commercial and residential security camera systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with existing security camera systems, NVRs, networking equipment and related hardware.
• Run, terminate, and test structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6).
• Install and configure IP cameras, NVRs and associated equipment.
• Perform service calls and resolve customer-reported technical issues.
• Assist with occasional alarm system and access control installations.
• Work at various customer locations throughout the region.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.

Requirements

We?re looking for someone with hands-on industry experience who takes pride in their work, can troubleshoot problems independently, and is comfortable working both independently and alongside other technicians.

• Previous hands-on experience in the security systems industry.
• Strong knowledge of IP camera systems and NVRs.
• Experience troubleshooting existing security systems.
• Comfortable running cable, terminating connections, and working at heights.
• Basic networking knowledge is an asset.
• Alarm and access control experience is an asset.
• Valid driver?s licence and clean driving record.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and driving between customer locations.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and a professional attitude.

We?re looking for someone who is comfortable with a flexible schedule and understands that we?re continuing to grow our customer base and expand our operations.
