Specialist Consultant Surgical Oncologist

Key Responsibilities

Perform surgical management of patients with various solid tumours and cancers.

Evaluate patients and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans.

Perform complex oncological procedures in accordance with established clinical standards.

Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and follow-up.

Work closely with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.

Participate in tumour boards and multidisciplinary case discussions.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure high standards of patient safety.

Requirements

MBBS or equivalent medical degree.

MD/MS/DNB or equivalent postgraduate qualification in General Surgery.

Fellowship or advanced qualification in Surgical Oncology is preferred.

Relevant post-specialization experience in surgical oncology.

Strong experience in oncological surgical procedures.

Excellent clinical, communication, and decision-making skills.
