Consultant Paediatric Surgeon

Job Description

A well-established and prestigious hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced consultant pediatric surgeon to join its pediatric surgical team. Requirements

Medical degree with a recognized specialization in pediatric surgery

Valid DHA, DoH, or MOHAP license/eligibility or eligibility to obtain UAE licensure

Minimum 3–5 years of post-specialization experience

Strong experience in pediatric surgical procedures, including elective and emergency cases

Experience managing complex pediatric surgical conditions

Strong clinical decision-making and patient-management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively with pediatricians, anesthetists, intensivists, and other specialists

Tier 1 consultant qualifications such as CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Board, Irish Board, or equivalent are highly preferred

Experience in a tertiary-care or JCI-accredited hospital is an advantage
