Position summary
We are seeking a highly skilled consultant internal medicine to provide comprehensive, evidence-based medical care for adult patients with a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions. Key responsibilities
Diagnose, evaluate, and manage a wide range of adult medical conditions.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based clinical guidelines.
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient internal medicine services.
Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams and referring physicians.
Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
Manage complex medical cases requiring multidisciplinary collaboration.
Supervise junior physicians and participate in clinical teaching where applicable.
Participate in medical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical governance activities.
Ensure accurate, timely, and confidential medical documentation.
Promote preventive healthcare and patient education.
Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and international accreditation standards.
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Completion of accredited postgraduate training in internal medicine.
Western qualification is mandatory, including one of the following:
American board certification
CCT/CCST (United Kingdom)
Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
Royal College of Physicians (UK or Ireland)
Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)
Equivalent Tier 1 qualification recognized under UAE PQR
Valid medical registration in the country of practice.
