Consultant Anesthesia

Job description

We are seeking an experienced consultant anesthesiologist to join a leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide safe and effective anesthesia services for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, assess patients pre-operatively, manage anesthesia during procedures, oversee post-operative pain management, respond to medical emergencies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical care.

Requirements

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).

Completion of a recognized residency and higher specialty training in anesthesiology.

Board certification/CCT/CESR or equivalent specialist qualification recognized by the relevant health authority.

Eligibility for consultant licensure with DHA, DOH, or MOH (or already licensed).

Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience as a consultant anesthesiologist (depending on qualification and licensing authority requirements).

Experience in general, regional, obstetric, pediatric, cardiac, neuro, or critical care anesthesia is an advantage.

Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
