Container Surveyor (Tuas / Training Provided)

Position: Container Surveyor Location: Tuas - with two-way transport from Boon Lay MRT Working hours: 5.5 days, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm; Saturday, 8.30am to 1.00pm Salary (commensurate on experience): Up to $4500 gross (basic + OT) + AWS + Medical + Dental + Variable Bonus Duration: Permanent Industry: Container support services

Main Responsibilities: Inspect containers during gate-in and gate-out operations. Assess container condition and identify damage. Take photographs and maintain inspection records where required. Recommend appropriate repair methods and prepare repair documentation. Liaise with customers regarding container damage and repair matters. Support joint container inspections with customers or external parties. Assist with identifying container locations and traffic coordination within the yard. Perform other related container survey duties as assigned.

Requirements: Comfortable performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions. Able to perform hands-on inspection duties involving regular walking, standing and movement around the container yard. Comfortable working at height where required, with appropriate safety procedures and equipment. Willing to work overtime when operationally required. Previous experience in container depots, logistics, shipping or inspection work will be advantageous.
