Requirements
- MD Diploma plus Masters or PhD in Health Economics, Epidemiology or Public Health with broad medical knowledge within relevant therapeutic areas and real world evidence. The degree must have been approved or evaluated by the Swedish authorities (Socialstyrelsen).
- Fluency in English and Swedish (written and spoken). Additional linguistic competence is a plus.
- Competence in quantitative, qualitative and mixed method research methodologies along with data analysis packages like: STATA, Atlas Ti and Excel. Publication in peer reviewed journal or presentation in international conferences will be a merit.
- Knowledgeable in all aspects of clinical trial methodology and GCP guidelines.
- A minimum of 4 years clinical experience in an international setting.
- Project management / evaluation experience focused on Health Economic Outcome Research.
- Strong communication and public presentation skills.
- Well demonstrated leadership, social and networking skills. The candidate should have the ability to work independently and in teams, including cross-functional settings.
- Good moderation and negotiation skills together with a proactive approach and a high level of accountability.
- Flexible and positive outgoing personality, with high level of drive and enthusiasm.
- Innovative and entrepreneurial thinking.
Job Responsibilities
- Together with the Real-World Evidence Executive, Medical Advisor and Market Access Manager plan, co-ordinate and execute the medical activities in the Nordic countries according to the needs of the local business owners. Also, as per the global medical strategy develop a long-term medical strategy to implement on an account basis.
- Understand the requirements of the Nordic client, prepare and present the deliverables: Communicating, gathering Health economic and clinical information in accordance with specific company guidelines. Prepares Proposals, Reviews and revises draft proposals that respond to client requirements, following standard formats used for previous engagements. Reviews Summaries: Reviews data; identifies patterns and implications. Develops Findings: Assists in using information and data to develop findings appropriate to client requirements.
- Liaise with clinical trial investigators within the Nordic area, in collaboration with local clinical development, ensuring formation of effective working relationships.
- Support marketing and sales departments with scientific information and in collaboration with them, actively liaise and interact with key opinion leaders and other key external stakeholders. Serve as medical contact person for local KOLs in the relevant activities when required.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate investigator-initiated studies and other external investigator driven projects.
- Attend local, national and international meetings and congresses.
