Scan Con Constraction is not a Temp Company (Er ikke et Vikar firma)We are looking for:<ul><li>Shipyard Welders (ship welders) </li><li>TIG Welders</li><li>MIG/MAG Welders</li><li>Aluminum Welders</li></ul> for marine industry in Danmark Scan Con offers jobs at the Shipyards on Reparation and New Build Departments. Key tasks:<ul><li>Help build and repair ships</li><li>Replace or repair metal parts of a ship's structure</li><li>Weld various types of metal, following blueprints and ensuring that the structure can withstand the pressure of the ocean</li><li>Inspect structures or materials to be welded</li><li>Monitor the welding process and adjust heat as necessary</li><li>Maintain equipment and machinery</li><li>Use a variety of equipment and methods to permanently join together various metal parts</li><li>Typically perform manual welding procedures using Shielded Metal Arc welding (SMAW) or Oxy-Acetylene torches, or use semiautomatic systems such as wire feeder machines</li><li>TIG welders - responsible for the fabrication and welding of aerospace tubular, sheet metal and casting engine components</li><li>TIG welders - tack welding, fabrication and fixtures to assist fabrication and welding</li></ul>Skills:<ul><li>English - must be able to communicate in English </li><li>Mathematical skills to read blueprints, trim metal objects accurately and interpret model sketches</li><li>Understanding spatial reasoning for product dimensions</li><li>Comprehending 2D and 3D models correctly</li><li>Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety</li><li>Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers</li><li>Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Experience from shipyards </li><li>Education or professional experience in a given position</li></ul>We Offer you:·         Full time job in Denmark ·         Danish contract signed with Scan Con Construction  ·         Attractive salary (also vacation money, Free Choice Account, Labor market pension)·         We guarantee 37 hours per week with possibilities for overtime (The normal average weekly working hours are according to the Union agreement as well as any local agreements)·         Flight tickets·         Transport to/ from job ·         Accommodation ·         Safety courses·         Work tools and clothes·         Help with applying for a residence and work permit after the Fast track scheme·         Health insurance / Medical helpINTERESTED?If you have any questions about the position, or if you wish to apply, you are welcome to contact Magda Kosecka HR Administrator on phone: +45 32 82 00 00 or send your application to cv@scan-con.dk – in e-mail title please write Shipyard Welders Wanted
