• Offshore Installation Manager (OIM)

Background

• The Control of Work Supervisor act as Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator to ensure no conflicting activities that work is safely executed in accordance with GEMS Business Processes & Working Procedures.

Authority

• The Control of Work Supervisor has the authority to monitor, implement and verify safe practices onboard. Has an Approver role in the Permit to Work approval workflow.

• 1) Manage Control of Work - 1 Promote an effective risk-based safety culture, with a focus on Health, Safety, Well-being, and Sustainability. - Be a leader in †Doing the right thing right†with Target Excellence goals of †No Harm, No Defects and No Leaks†. - Coordinate and support the proper implementation of all Control of Work tools at the worksite (ePtW. Risk Assessment, Barrier Management, Toolbox Talks, Isolations Philosophy, MoC)
