English Teacher

About the role You will teach English to international students preparing for the Admissions Exercise for International Students (AEIS) to gain entry into Singapore government schools. This is a Primary 6 to Secondary level position at Ruisheng Institute, located 3 minutes walk from Clarke Quay MRT. Key responsibilities Deliver engaging and effective English lessons for Primary 6 to Secondary level AEIS students. Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the AEIS syllabus. Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely feedback to students and Head of Academic. Mark compositions and examination papers. Maintain accurate student records and attendance. Work closely with the academic team to continuously improve teaching materials and classroom outcomes. Foster a positive, encouraging and disciplined learning environment. About you Bachelor's Degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related discipline. At least 3 years of teaching experience. Proven experience in teaching P6/Lower Secondary students in continuous, situational, and creative writing. Passionate about teaching and committed to helping students achieve their academic goals. Able to adapt teaching methods to suit students from diverse educational and cultural backgrounds. Responsible, organized and a good team player. Working Hours Monday to Wednesday: 10:00am – 7:00pm (Where there are no scheduled morning lessons, teachers may work remotely from 10:00am to 12:00pm, subject to operational requirements.)
