Senior Accounts Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Accounts Executive to join a growing organisation and take ownership of full-set accounting across multiple entities.

This opportunity is suitable for accounting professionals who enjoy an end-to-end finance scope and want to strengthen their exposure across GL, month-end closing, financial reporting, GST and statutory matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full-set accounting for multiple entities, including GL, AP and AR.
• Perform month-end closing and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and other month-end adjustments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Manage vendor payments, staff claims and other finance-related transactions.
• Prepare GST reconciliations and quarterly GST submissions.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accounting records and reporting are prepared in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, banks, corporate secretaries and relevant external parties.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders on finance and accounting matters.
• Support process improvements and other finance-related initiatives where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline .
• ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous.
• Approximately 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience , depending on seniority.
• Hands-on experience with full-set accounting and month-end closing is strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of GL, AP/AR, bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Experience with GST preparation and statutory reporting would be advantageous.
• Experience with NetSuite or Oracle would be an added advantage.
• Meticulous, organised and comfortable working independently.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
