Project Manager - AI Based QA
About the Role PT Rekadia Solusi Teknologi is looking for a Project Manager – AI-Based QA to lead software development projects while driving quality assurance through AI-assisted testing and quality processes. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high-quality standards. This role is ideal for a technology-driven Project Manager who understands software development, has a strong QA mindset, and actively leverages AI to improve productivity and software quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage software projects from planning through delivery and release.
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, priorities, and deliverables.
- Coordinate Product, Engineering, QA, UI/UX, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers.
- Manage scope changes and ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular project status reports.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria from a quality perspective.
- Create and/or review test scenarios, test cases, regression checklists, and edge cases.
- Leverage AI tools to improve test case generation, test analysis, bug analysis, and QA documentation.
- Identify potential risks, defects, and failure scenarios before release.
- Coordinate functional, integration, regression, API, and UAT testing.
- Work closely with developers to track, prioritize, and resolve defects.
- Drive continuous improvement of AI-assisted QA workflows and processes.
- Support Go/No-Go release decisions based on quality and testing results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Project Management, IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, or a related role.
- Experience managing software development projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum.
- Good understanding of software testing and QA processes.
- Familiar with functional, integration, regression, API, and UAT testing.
- Familiar with project management/issue tracking tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Trello, Linear, or similar.
- Familiar with Postman and basic SQL/database concepts is a plus.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- AI Skills – Required
- Actively use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
- Able to leverage AI for requirement analysis, test case generation, edge case identification, bug analysis, documentation, project planning, and risk analysis.
- Understand the fundamentals of AI-assisted software testing.
- Able to critically review and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Curious and proactive in exploring new AI tools and workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a QA Engineer / QA Lead.
- Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and CI/CD.
- ISTQB, Scrum Master, PMP, or other relevant certifications.
- Good English communication skills.
