After School Club Supervisors & Playworkers Required

Reed Education is currently recruiting After School Club Supervisors and Playworkers to support a network of welcoming primary schools across Croydon and Merton , including East Croydon, Kenley and Mitcham .

Position Details

  • Hours: 3:00pm - 6:15pm (Term Time Only)
  • Pay: Competitive hourly rates
  • Locations: Primary schools across Croydon & Merton
  • Work Type: Flexible, ongoing opportunities

Ideal Experience

Teaching Assistants, Nursery Assistants, Playworkers, After School Club Supervisors, Childcare Practitioners, Learning Support Assistants, Sports Coaches, Youth Workers, Camp Leaders and Holiday Club Staff.

What We're Looking For

  • DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Reliable, professional and punctual approach
  • Positive, energetic and engaging personality
  • Genuine passion for working with children
  • Ability to create a fun, safe and inclusive environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Childcare qualification
  • Previous wraparound care experience
  • Experience supporting children with SEN
  • Personal care experience

Additional Opportunities

Some assignments may involve supporting wraparound care provision , where experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and carrying out personal care would be highly advantageous.
