We are hiring for our MNC client: We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to take the lead in maintaining, improving and modernising industrial automation systems within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of automation systems Ensure high system availability and minimise production downtime Design, develop and implement new automation systems and process improvements Develop control logic and HMI interfaces, and integrate SCADA & DCS systems Troubleshoot complex automation issues and conduct root cause analysis Support automated equipment including robots, applicators and smart devices Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability and productivity Lead system upgrades and automation modernisation projects Maintain technical documentation, standards and procedures Work closely with Production, Engineering and Maintenance teams Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians Requirements Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or equivalent Min. 5 years of industrial automation experience Experience in leading automation projects and troubleshooting complex systems Strong hands-on knowledge of: ABB 800xA DCSSchneider, Siemens PLC programming, SCADA systems (Fix32 or equivalent), Industrial control systems & client-server architecture Strong understanding of control systems and industrial networking Good problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills Added Advantage Experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and sanitation standards Exposure to robotics, vision systems and Industry 4.0 technologies
