Skilled Framing Carpenter ? Whistler / Sea-to-Sky

Raven Roofing is looking for an experienced *Framing Carpenter* to support our current projects in Whistler and the Sea-to-Sky area.
We are a well-established BC commercial roofing contractor with projects throughout the Lower Mainland and Sea-to-Sky Corridor. We are looking for a skilled, dependable carpenter who can work independently and contribute to our team on active project sites.
*The Role*
The work will primarily involve *framing and carpentry associated with our current Whistler projects*, with the potential for additional ongoing work throughout the Sea-to-Sky Corridor.
Responsibilities may include:
- Wood framing and general carpentry
- Reading and working from drawings and project specifications
- Measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing framing components
- Working alongside our roofing and project teams
- Completing work safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Maintaining an organized and safe work area
- Coordinating with site Foremen and Project Management as required
*What We're Looking For*
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong framing and carpentry experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own tools and reliable transportation
- Strong understanding of construction-site safety
- Reliable attendance and good communication
- Ability to work in *Whistler and throughout the Sea-to-Sky area*
*Subcontractors*
Our preference is to work with an established subcontractor who:
- Operates their own business
- Carries their own *WorkSafeBC/WCB coverage*
- Carries appropriate *liability insurance*
- Has their own tools and transportation
- Is available for current and potentially ongoing project work

While subcontracting is preferred for this position, we are also open to speaking with experienced carpenters who are looking for *regular employment with Raven Roofing*.
