Patching Operations Process Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 5–8 years in infrastructure operations, patch management, change coordination, service delivery or technology process governance
• Hands-on knowledge of Open Systems administration covering Windows, Linux/Unix and server patching principles
• Working knowledge of middleware administration and patching, such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache HTTPD/Tomcat or equivalent platforms
• Experience coordinating production changes across infrastructure, middleware and application team
• Working knowledge of CRQ/change processes, VRA/exception handling, rollback and post-patch validation
• Comfortable supporting rostered overnight, weekend and public-holiday activities when patch windows require
• Strong documentation, stakeholder follow-up, issue triage and escalation discipline
• ITIL certification or equivalent service-management experience is preferred
