Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Prepare, review, and analyse financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.

Develop, monitor, and manage budgets while supporting financial planning activities.

Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.

Reconcile accounts, monitor cash flow, and maintain the integrity of financial data.

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.

Supervise, guide, and support accounting staff while performing other finance-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and financial management. Strong knowledge of budgeting, taxation, account reconciliation, and financial analysis. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Professional accounting certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage. Possess excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
