EHS Specialist (Senior Level)

• Assist to develop, implement and maintain plant EHS programs, practices and procedures.
• Organize or attend EHS training, EHS awareness promotion, ensure necessary training is delivered to all required employees, promotes zero incident EHS culture, as well physical drills are conducted.
• Effectively address EHS standards while meeting operational and business needs, maintain compliance with safety, health and environmental laws and regulations issued by government and Quasar corporate policy.
• Health & Safety hazard identification, assessment, elimination & follow control actions within the factory and dorms zone, as well works with leadership team to create targets and objectives based on key EHS risks, organize employee medical check.
• Champion continuous improvement processes relating to health, safety and the environment.
• Liaise with government for EHS related affairs, to build up and maintain good communication relationship with local authorities.
• EHS related equipment/ devices deployment, procurement application, inspection and maintenance.
• Deal with both internal and external issues about safety, conduct incident investigations and systematically identify corrective and preventive actions with leadership team, and report work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Participate in the process of plant construction, equipment installment including making contracts with suppliers, lead process and equipment EHS reviews and develop appropriate controls; so as to make sure those projects to meet the requirements of EHS.
• Emergency Response & Incident Investigation, Corrective & Preventive Action follow-up.
• Weekly check all departments’ safety production situation, inspect safety risks and propose safety management suggestions, monitor responsible department to improve.
• Deal with other assignments assigned by superior.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in EHS/Safety, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Good knowledge of Thai EHS laws and regulations. Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, and workplace safety. Knowledge of chemical management, waste management, environmental control, and emergency preparedness. Experience conducting EHS training, safety inspections, audits, and emergency drills. Experience working with contractors and suppliers on safety requirements. Good skills in incident investigation and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Strong communication and coordination skills. English communication skills are usually required, especially in multinational companies. Computer skills, especially Microsoft Office / Excel / PowerPoint. Safety Professional / Professional Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ) qualification is an advantage or may be required depending on the position.
