Senior Commercial Construction Superintendent

Senior Construction Superintendent Location: Leesburg, VA office; projects in Washington, DC Job Type: Direct Hire Starting Salary: $127,000/year — higher compensation available based on experience Position Overview We are hiring a Senior Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations for commercial and institutional construction projects. This position is responsible for coordinating subcontractors and field crews while maintaining project safety, quality, and progress.

Requirements U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a security clearance

Associate degree in Construction Management, Building Construction, or related field

10–15 years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor on commercial or institutional projects

7+ years of government contracting experience

Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects, not only renovations

Experience using spreadsheets, email, and construction industry software

Current OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and CQC certification issued by USACE/NAVFAC

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to lift and handle 50 lbs.

Physically able to walk active job sites and regularly climb ladders and stairs to inspect work, direct subcontractors and field crews, and maintain safety and quality standards

Preferred Experience overseeing projects valued at $10M–$40M

Strong background managing commercial and government construction projects
