Senior / Junior Commercial and Tender Executive

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor project budget, committed cost, actual cost, forecast and overall cost performance.
- Prepare and monitor project procurement and subcontracting plans in coordination with the Project Manager, Procurement and Commercial Department.
- Assist in preparing and submitting pre- and post-tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost sheets, progress claims, and other commercial documents.
- Liaise with the Commercial Department on cost control, procurement, subcontracting and contractual matters.
- Prepare and manage client claims, progress claims and variation claims.
- Review, verify and certify contractors’ / subcontractors’ claims.
- Monitor variations, potential claims, contractual obligations and commercial risks, and highlight issues to the PM and Commercial Department.
- Prepare and maintain monthly project commercial and cost reports for the Commercial Department.
- Maintain project commercial records, including cost, claim, variation, procurement and subcontract registers.
- Act as the project representative for the Commercial & Contract Department in meetings and correspondence with clients, contractors and subcontractors.
- Support the Project Manager in commercial negotiations, cost optimization and resolution of project commercial issues.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in project commercial, cost control, quantity surveying, or contract administration.
- Experience in engineering, construction, M&E, semiconductor, industrial or similar project environments.
- Good understanding of project costing, procurement, subcontracting, variations and claims.
- Able to read and understand contracts, quotations, BOQs, purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
- Strong Excel and project cost reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills with PMs, clients, contractors, procurement and commercial teams.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet monthly reporting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience handling client and subcontractor claims.
- Experience with variation orders, EOT, contractual notices and commercial risk management.
- Relevant experience in tender administration, project costing, commercial support, or contract administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with project cost-control systems such as ERP, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
