Network & Firewall Engineer

Requirements:

• Experience in network architecture and implementation
• Monitors network alerts, backs up configurations, executes simple pre-approved changes, handles cabling/port requests with the data centre site team. CCNA or equivalent.
• SME for Cisco ACI/Nexus, firewall platforms (Cisco FTD/ASA, Check Point, Fortinet) and F5 load balancers; designs and reviews complex changes, leads network RCA with other vendors.
• Hands-on experience with routing/switching, firewall, VPN, and load balancer
• Experience in Data Center Migration and DR network setup
• Strong understanding of network security and HA architecture
• Strong Networking, Cloud Network, Network Analysis, Network Monitoring, Data Migration
• Network certifications (CCNP required, CCIE or NSE7+ preferred)

Job Description:

• Design and implement enterprise network architecture, including routing, switching, and security components
• Define and maintain highly available (HA) and secure network infrastructure standards
• Participate network design reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
• Support data center migration and disaster recovery (DR) network planning and execution
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align network solutions with business and security requirements.
• Data centre and cloud network operations (L2): Cisco Nexus / ACI, Catalyst, NCS, ASA / FTD / FMC, F5 BIG-IP, Mellanox, HPE / Aruba, Check Point, Fortinet. Changes via approved method of procedure and change board, config backup and restore, troubleshooting with a separate network operations vendor.
