IT Project Manager (Banking Experience)

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• SDLC & Project Execution: Manage end-to-end application development (application side) utilizing Agile (Scrum/Kanban), Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
• Banking Domain Alignment: Ensure application workflows, features, and system integrations align with banking business requirements, security standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary bridge between business stakeholders (Product Owners, Business Analysts), technical teams (Developers, QA, Software Architects), and third-party vendors.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify technical, operational, and delivery risks early to implement proactive mitigation strategies.
• Planning & Monitoring: Establish project roadmaps, manage resource allocation, monitor progress against key milestones, and maintain regular status reporting.

🎯 Requirements & Qualifications

• Mandatory Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of direct experience managing IT/Software Development projects.
• SDLC Expertise (Application Side): Solid track record of delivering application-side projects (Mobile Apps, Web Platforms, API Integrations, or Core Systems).
• Banking Domain: Mandatory background in the Banking or Financial Services industry (deep understanding of banking processes, financial data security, and regulatory compliance).

Nice-to-Have & Skills: Solid grasp of system architecture and integration concepts (APIs, Microservices, Core Banking Systems). Industry certifications such as PMP®, PRINCE2®, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM®) are a strong plus. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Trello). Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
