Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Analyst or Cybersecurity role, preferably in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, system administration, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and relevant stakeholders.
Technical Requirements
Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, including:
- SIEM
- IDS/IPS
- Endpoint Protection / EDR
- Vulnerability Management
- Experience in performing security assessments, penetration testing, and security incident investigation.
- Knowledge or experience in forensic analysis is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016 or later.
- Experience performing Windows Server patching and patch management, including patch deployment and troubleshooting.
- Experience using third-party patch management tools is preferred.
- Ability to analyze security alerts, system logs, and security events to identify potential threats and security incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
- Experience in a corporate or enterprise security environment is preferred.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
