On behalf of our client, we are currently hiring for a position as detailed below: Backend Developer (Node.js) - Prefer ASAP, WFO South Jakarta.

Job Description

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using Node.js and the NestJS framework.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices to support business-critical applications.
• Manage database operations using MySQL/PostgreSQL with ORM tools (e.g., TypeORM), including writing efficient queries.
• Implement coding best practices by conducting unit tests (Jest), performing code reviews, and applying OWASP-aligned security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate services, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable system performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer specializing in Node.js and NestJS.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and database concepts using MySQL/PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with testing tools (Jest), Git version control, and containerization (Docker).
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
