We are hiring a QA Engineer to join a leading technology company in Indonesia. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys software testing, problem-solving, and ensuring high-quality digital products.
📍 JOB DETAILS
Position: QA Engineer Location: Jakarta Employment Type: Contract/Project Salary: Rp6,000,000/month Overtime: Available if required
💼 ABOUT THE ROLE
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing test scenarios, identifying potential issues, supporting product releases, and contributing to test automation.
You will work closely with Software Engineers and other teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
🔧 RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute test scenarios for medium-complexity features.
- Perform functional, regression, and other relevant software testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs/issues.
- Understand product architecture and interactions between dependent systems.
- Support release testing and quality certification.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives.
- Determine the appropriate balance between manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality.
🎯 REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year of experience in QA, Software Testing, or Software Engineering.
- Strong understanding of Computer Science and Software Testing principles.
- Able to understand technical architecture and system dependencies.
- Familiar with SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Familiar with RESTful APIs and API testing.
- Able to create test plans and test designs for medium-complexity features.
- Understand the advantages and trade-offs between manual and automated testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Graduates from reputable local or international universities are preferred.
- High GPA is a plus.
