QA Automation Engineer

Protelion Research and Development Center LLC is looking for a motivated Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our team in Yerevan, Armenia.

Support and enhance the existing .NET-based automation framework for Armored OS using NUnit, Appium 2.x, and UIAutomator2

Add and maintain Android automated tests

Work with JSON-based scenario configurations

Investigate and resolve flaky tests

Analyze and maintain Allure reports Requirements:

Good knowledge of C#/.NET, including OOP, async/await, JSON, and file handling

Experience with NUnit attributes such as [Test], [SetUp], and [TearDown]

Familiarity with Appium or Selenium WebDriver, Android UI testing, locators, and waits

Basic knowledge of Android SDK/ADB, Node.js/npm, and Java JDK

Experience with Git and PowerShell

Ability to run tests using .NET test and filter them by scenario name

Ability to understand, maintain, and improve an existing codebase

Will Be a Plus:

Experience with Allure, Serilog, or Newtonsoft.Json

Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions

1–2 years of experience in QA automation

What You’ll Work on During Your First 2–4 Weeks:

Understand the project structure and run the automated tests locally

Add a simple Appium test and register it in the JSON configuration

Run a specific test scenario independently

Fix flaky tests by improving locators, waits, or timeouts

Add Allure steps to a new test

Move reusable UI logic into page objects or helper classes You will not be expected to build an automation framework from scratch. The main focus of this role is maintaining and developing an established framework.
