ABA Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ABA Tutor to join a supportive and welcoming specialist setting in Slough .

The school supports children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs, providing a structured and nurturing environment where pupils can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Staff work closely together to deliver personalised learning programmes and positive behaviour support strategies tailored to each student's individual needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) , Autism support, SEN education, Psychology, Behaviour Support, or related fields. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, implementing behaviour intervention programmes, supporting communication development, and encouraging independence and engagement in learning.

The school offers excellent support, ongoing training, and opportunities for professional development throughout the academic year.

Depending on performance and the needs of the school, there may be the opportunity to extend the contract or secure a permanent position.

CONTRACT DETAILS

Location - Slough, Berkshire Position - ABA Tutor Type of work - Supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs Contract or position start date - ASAP Hours - 8:30am - 4:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with Autism (ASC)
  • Experience delivering ABA programmes or behaviour support interventions is desirable
  • Psychology, Education, SEN, ABA, Behaviour Analysis, or related qualifications are advantageous
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
