Senior Software Engineer Aveva MES

What we expect from you

As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for working out medium-sized projects independently. Within these projects, you will supervise software engineers Aveva MES.

You will consult directly with the technical lead Aveva MES in case of uncertainty about the Aveva MES functions and/or option packages to be applied. As a senior software engineer, you are accountable to the project management for the progress of the project and are able to independently monitor the scope of the assignment. If there are out-of-scope activities, then a senior software engineer can provide the right substantiation for the project manager. Throughout the project, you as a senior software engineer ensure transparent and clear communication with both the client and your colleague(s). You ensure that the software engineers can come to you for technical questions and/or guide them towards the right solution.

Primary tasks and responsibilities

• Independently execute and plan Aveva MES projects;
• Drafting, updating and/or reviewing functional and detail designs;
• Attending client and internal discussions on design, progress, safety, technical innovations;
• Managing engineers during the realisation phase;
• Point of contact for engineers on technical issues;
• transparent and clear communication;
• Drawing up use cases on the basis of interviews with customers, per discipline (production, planning, quality, etc.)
• Reporting to project leaders.

• Bijwonen Aveva MES teamoverleg;
• Positieve bijdrage aan de goede sfeer binnen het Prospact team.
